      Socrates made the ball dance. The Brazilian was football's king of cool in the Eighties, the epitome of lean, straight-backed elegance.

          1 of the greatest to have played the game. It's because of players like Socrates that the game is called "The Beautiful Game"

              He is a true legend of the game, and I can't think of another taller player (he was 6ft 4in) that could move the ball like him. RIP
