    Khan Kan't

I was disapointed when the seemingly invincible Tyson lost his crown to buster. Not so gutted this time though. Even the invincibles at 49 unbeaten had to go eventually... but to a cheating dive by Rooney?

I thought the re-match had been made? According to Khan on Sky's Ringside today he said he wants the rematch but he doesn't think Pieterson will agree to it because it won't be in Washington and he knows he will lose.

Pietersen agreed to give Amir a rematch after the fight and apparantly according to Amir they had agreed this even before the fight if Amir lost. We will have to see if it happens, Lamont was offered this fight last year in the UK with more money which he refused as he would only face Amir is DC.

Amir has also said there were 2 cards filled in by the judges on 1 of them they had Amir win the fight. However now Amir's appealed the decision the IBF have apparantly lost this card. He also went on to say if he gets the decision overturned he will still give Lamont a rematch to put things right.

I don't think it will be overturned and neither do I think it should be overturned...unless there is absolute evidence of corruption...the result must stand.

I like to see all Brits winning, Amir flys the flag and I always support him 100% in fights against non brits, if he is fighting a brit...I dont care who wins.

As I said before...he has no one to blame but himself, he was lazy in too many rounds, a little more effort in even a couple of rounds would have gave the result to him easily, although I think the points reductions were very harsh...he had been constantly warned and still persisted to do it....was that the judges fault ????........NO.

Loctation/judges/ref were all agreed before the fight.

Stop fekkin whinging and blaming everyone else Amir...get the rematch and win it this time.

khans a sore loser, IMO he lost fair and square, he's lucky it was only two points, he should take it like a man, train hard and just take the rematch!

Contrast Khans whining to Froch gracious and honest assessment of his defeat day and night....Khan feels the sport owes him which is a shame, you need to earn a victory in boxing NOT expect it!

In his Sky sports news interview last week Khan did say although Lamont agreed to a re-match after the fight he doubts that Lamont will agree to it as he knows he will lose.

His reasoning behind it was Lamont would only fight him in DC even tho they offerd to fight him last year in the UK for more money which Lamont refused. Lamont wouldn't agree to a fight outside of DC.

Anyway whether it happens or not, Lamont deserves all the praise nothing should be taken away from the guy and all this controversy just overshadows his victory and performance.

Im a Amir Khan fan by the way, i just don't think he respect Lamont enough and went on about Mayweather, Bradley and Kell Brook too much.

Khan is acting like a petulant child his management should have told him to wise up, seek a rematch and avenge the defeat regardless of where it took place. I personally feel Khan is much too strong for Pietersen but underestimated him, I do believe Khan will beat Pietersen if they fight again, Khan has lost a lot of respect though, and I doubt the rematch will now take place.
