    Jockeys banned in horseracing fixing scandal

    Today the bha have announced that jockeys paul doe and paul fairley have recieved 12 year bans after an investigation into horseracing fixing. The jockeys were found to be deliberatley trying not to win and the outcomes of their races would have been bet on using internet betting sites. The investigation is continueing as more jockeys are probed as well as trainers and owners.
    Doesnt really tell us anything we didnt already know as its well known british horseracing is bent.

        I wonder why the police are not investigating this. They seem to not mind investigating snooker when the players are accused of fixing the frame score for betting purposes. Whats the difference here it was all done for the betting markets.
