    Who do you thing the Stig is ?

    A recent photo of the Stig from the BBC Show Top Gear was released by the SUN Newspaper, There have been reports of the ID of previous Stigs some confirmed such as Perry McCarthy & Russ Swift and unconfirmed names drivers as Damon Hill & Tim Schrick But the question is who is the present Stig ?

      Top Gear Stig identity revealed

      THE Stig has been today been revealed as racing driver and stunt-person Ben Collins.

      The mystery of the masked Top Gear driver who tests out top range cars at break-neck speeds has been kept a closely kept secret - with the last Stig, Perry McCarthy, being sacked after revealing his identity in his autobiography.

      It is thought that the 33-year-old accidentally let slip his alter-ego in an art shop in Bristol after trying to get a print of The Stig done.

      BBC are yet to comment but an annoyed Beeb insider has been reported as saying: ?You wouldn't write a piece saying that Santa didn't exist.?

      "Who is the Stig?" is frequently one of the most-searched terms on the internet

          Ben Collins Is the old stig, there have been more than 4 drivers who have played the Stig in all the years of Top gear, Ben Collins wrote a book back in 2002 and mentioned he had been a driver on the Top Gerar show in the first two series, He is however not the Present Driver or the current Stig

              I always thought that the BBC used a diferent Stig depending on the task at hand - but passed him off as the same person.

              I've seen episodes of Top Gear where the Stig has put on a few extra stones!

                      There have been even rumors that Mansell, Perry McCarthy, Julian Bailey, Damon Hill, Tim Schrick, Russ Swift have all been drivers on the Show even Mark Webber has been mentioned.
