why did abramovich buy chelsea? why did the saudis(?) who bought man city buy them... for the love of these clubs?...dont think so.. not for their success.. when they bought them. both were/are well behind us, the dung, arsenal ,everton, villa, spurs! so why??? no idea..but money talks... but why?????????

apparantly and according to most sources abramovich wanted utd but was put off by the huge price this was after he watched man utd beat real madrid 4-3 and he decided on chelsea as a cheaper option

he wasnt really a football fan at the time and was a guest at OT it was then he decided like a spolit kid that football was for him and he wanted some of that

which many believe is why moriniho ended up going because he couldnt deliver the exiting football he wanted

abramovich himself seems a bit of a one off tbh just a man with more money than he knows what to do with if only our lot and your lot had owners who would wipe all our debts but it seems by chelseas lack of spending recently his interest is slowly disapearing

man city are the new big spenders but for how long when you are ran by sugar daddys is a dangerous game and you can soon be left with massive debts and wages and end up bankrupt
