It was a great game. Steven Gerrard is the greatest. He took Liverpool to the next level once he came on the pitch. Adam, Henderson and the loser Downing were still sh*t but were overshadowed by the great play of Bellemy and Gerrard. With Gerrard back it's going to be a great new year.

No wonder there are no skint bookies with todays results. Blackburn were 20/1 to win, I wouldn't have backed them with free money.

i think looking at other teams around us and the way we are playing....we are in a much better position and have a much stronger squad than you think wolfie

henderson, song, meireles or anderson? personally id have henderson over the other 3

adam, diaby, carrick or obi mikel?......id take adam again over the other 3 right now

downing, walcott, maluda or valencia?.....tricky one this, they are all shit

we are playing better than most of the other top teams and controlling games better than them aswell

one of the greatest ever midfeilders to play football has just returned to fitness.....things are looking great id say!

So Shaka Hislop has come out and slammed Coloccini for his elbow on Bellamy which he says was balatant and should have seen red. He also went on to say Cabaye n Tiote could have seen red aswell. Shaka also now thinks Liverpool has a good chance of breaking in to the top 4 after earlier on in the season saying Liverpool hasn't got a chance and the fans see things through rose tinted glasses.

Gerrard is adamant he and his team-mates are relishing the trip to Eastlands.
"Bring it on," Gerrard told reporters.
"They are a fantastic team who have started the season really well but we've got nothing to fear.
We showed against them here [at Anfield] a couple of weeks ago that we more than matched them.
"These are exciting games, we don't fear these and these are the games as a player you want to play in. I can't wait."
Liverpool form on the road has been exceptional this season, the Reds having picked up wins at Stamford Bridge, the Emirates and elsewhere.


The Liverpool captain believes this will stand his side in good stead heading into the game.

The Club can confirm that they received the written reasons from the Regulatory Commission at short notice last night on the evening of the game against Newcastle United.

What a crock of sh1te that was. They convicted him on probability and body language, they had no video evidence at all.

There were inconsistencies in his statement after the match and at the trial but ffs his English is rubbish and even though they they acknowledged that Evra started the abuse, they still found against Luis.

They assumed/guessed he said Negro 7 times on the word of Evra, even though NOT one other player heard him saying it on the goal line incident and anywhere else.

They accepted that Negro can be a way of chatting in Spanish and not been seen as racist, they accepted that Evra initially thought he called him a nigger and later said he translated it wrong and it meant black but they did not accept Evra could have translated anything else wrong.

I personaly think it was tit for tat and I also believe we should appeal it but don't think we will get any joy but we must appeal it.

115 pages i skimmed through some of it, the only thing i must say if Suarez denies everything he doesn't get any punishment. But because he admitted what he said he dug his own grave. But i agree we still should appeal, i don't think we will win it but maybe get reduced games or suspended sentence.
