If it's in his contract...then YES he deserves it. If his contract had said you must score x amount of goals within that year then that would have been different.

Did I not say I was taking nothing away from the teams? I also just read that the majority of the fans of both sides behaved with only 2 arrests and 17 people ejected from the stadium. Quite impressed with those figures considering recent events.

Yes there are some idiots that call themselves fans. Maybe our team is in decline. Maybe were not. Thing is. You beat us. We were punished for not creating anything in the last 3rd of the pitch and having a shite keeper.

But with those failings. Liverpool fc are still behind united and will be for a while.

Im amazed that united fans can come in this thread and still try and have a go at Liverpool!

Its time to look at yourselves and ask yourselves why you lost. Every team has injuries, and even some of the players you mentioned are shit to be honest....

Thanks mate, and you have shown more class and humilaity than all of the other united fans put together.

I agree with everything you said, and i do still think you have a great chance to win the league.

But as ive said, teams have closed the gap on you and it really is going to be harder and harder for you in the coming seasons.
