think the season target was to finish top 4, disappointing finish no doubt but still been a good season

Have to agree with the Top 4 finish yes it would have been nice to have the EPL crown too but as Rodgers had previously stated he had a 5 year plan and getting into the top 4 was priority as well as build the team up gradually.

Thinking about it this should have been a 2 horse race between City and Chelski it just so happened with no euro football the Reds seemed to have gained momentum and appeared from no where.

Even though it pains me to say it but Pulis has done wonders at CP and to be honest with a 3 nil lead we should have hung back and protected more but it seems the open football seems to rule and the counter attacks killed us as usual.

all in all a good season would have been the icing on the cake but when you play as open as that your going to get punished.

Funny reading these comments at the end of the day they blew it. If my team was in that position with a few games to go I wouldn't be thinking we had a great season I would be bitterly disappointed and probably angry even though I think Rodgers has done a great job. He did a great job at Swansea but he needs to learn from someone like mourmo****ot that you don't need to play exciting football in every game and win ugly.
By the way a frustrated Leeds fan
