THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment

Agree with you on Coyle. Hodgson did do an amazing job on getting Fullham to the final and any praise he received was deserved, however without trawling back i don't recall one single poster saying his achievements merited the managers job at Liverpool.I thought you would be trumpeting Sir Walter?
I'm not disagreeing with Coyle being an excellent manager, but it would be a big call for Liverpool to make in there current precarious position. I fancy it's maybe too bigger risk to go with a relativly unexperienced boss.
On Hodgson. This is the same man that many on here were praising for his 'amazing' job at Fulham, especially at the time of the uefa cup final.
Personally I never thought Rafa was that bad, he won you a European Cup ffs..
I don't remember anybody actually saying it was a good appointment when he arrived neither.on Benitez He won a European cup in his first season the fa cup in his next and then it was downhill from there. Granted his CV looks good but his football teams are boring.

History has a funny way of repeating itself:
"Following a run of seven games without a win, Manchester United were drawn away to Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup in Jan 1990. Forest were performing well that season and were in the process of winning the League Cup for the second season running, and it was expected that United would lose the match and Ferguson would consequently be sacked, but United won the game 1-0 thanks to a Mark Robins goal and eventually reached the final. This cup win is often cited as the match that saved Ferguson's Old Trafford career"
Will somebody be a Mark Robins on Sunday..????
