The length of a contract means nothing except to determine the valuation of a player when he wants to leave before the contract runs out.

Let him go if he doesn't want to be here, but not to another prem side. The coont deserves all the shit he gets, it was only a few games back he was saying he would honour his contract and we should all pull together. A striker isn't that difficult to replace as long as you have creative players around him.

Its just rumour, But rumour turned to reality yesterday, I see Balague said two days earlier that Torres wanted to play with Suarez, It could just be a big mistake (timing), Torres handed in the request because he thought the Suarez deal was dead and we werent going anywhere, Then wallop, We pay the full price for Suarez...
Now he wants to withdraw the request, That makes sense..
I think the owners have shit themselves when he handed in the TQ and went straight for Suarez, It didnt make any sense him handing in a transfer request after Suarez signed when he had said he wanted to play with Suarez.. Thats my theory
