"I've felt better. God, it's killing me "

          Federer on defeat

"Just remember you're a great champion and you're one of the best in history and for sure you're going to match Sampras "

          Nadal to Federer

What does that say about nadal?

I really felt for Federer at the end of that game. He was emotionally and physically drained. He will have it hard to get over that defeat and I think we may have seen his best, not sure that he has not been - finally - psychologically battered into submission by Nadal.

All respect to him and to Nadal. Rafa is a worthy recipient of the baton but I am not sure he will hold on to it for as long as Federer. There are a few young turks coming through who will put him under real ressure in the next year. IMHO of course.
