The ongoing war of words between WWE Champion CM Punk and R&B singer Chris Brown has escalated.
Over the weekend, CM Punk tweeted:


I would like @chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a #wrestlemania moment.


Chris Brown replied:


@CMpunk needs more followers. He's such a leader! Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women.
Positivity regardless of how u feel! @CMpunk contact my assistant and I'll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!


After re-tweeting a message saying he and Chris Brown should fight an MMA fight, Punk posted the following video online on Tuesday night with the caption: This Must Be Said.

i really do not get it

a wwe world champion is offering to fight a (shite) rap star and when finished give all the proceeds to charidee.

unless said rap star has a double identity and hold a wwe world championship belt under a pseudonym through maybe wearing a mask when he fights (like kendo nagassaki used to) then i struggle to see the appeal.

maybe chris brown should instead offer cm punk a winner takes all challenge.they could give it a cool name like karaoke carnage where he puts up a couple of his platinum discs and mr punk puts up his belts and whoever sings the best version of the excellent carl douglas classic "kung fu fighting" gets to take the prize.

The Undertaker appeared on Monday's Raw SuperShow and did not remove the hood covering his head. WWE officials plan to have the iconic wrestler remove his hood and display his altered appearance for the first time when he faces Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match at Wrestlemania XXVIII.

Though he shaved his head bald last year, he has maintained the look since then and therefore will not appear similar to his Big Evil persona of 2002 and 2003 when he had short hair.

As far as why The Undertaker went through the radical change, it is said that he considered the hair too be too much trouble to deal with on a day to day basis.

Several WWE superstars are reportedly pissed off about The Rock's involvement at WrestleMania 28 and how he's getting top billing on the show, despite the fact that he's not a full-time superstar.

A fan sent The Rock a message on Twitter, asking:

@TheRock haters claim ur keeping them from wrestling @ Mania & they cant get over. Y couldnt they get over when u were gone?


The Rock responded with the following message, which is sure to rub a few people the wrong way:

I was waiting for one of these comments, i knew someone would make it. Yes we know and so does everyone else but they still pack arenas and people world wide still watch, i guess thats why its called World Wrestling Entertainment......

Well all I can say is that the people who actually do pay and go and see this so called entertainment are Idiots for paying for something that is fixed.

i too wondered about the lack of a wwe thread until i came across this but it appears to be dead. i shall try and revive it with my views on what needs to happen.
first i think the brand extension has to end and also at least half the titles that are currently in play need to be unified and then just stick with the one world champ. this will provide a greater number of top level guys all vying for the 1 title making it all round more interesting product. it seems that everyone is a champion these days and that is down to the sheer volume of titles on offer. i also think that halving the number of ppv's a year wouldn't hurt as we are too used to seeing the same people headline them all too frequently, less ppv's would allow sufficient time to build new fueds effectively as opposed to hashing one together a week before a ppv and expecting anyone to care. i think also with the introduction of a new saturday morning show which is aimed specifically at kids it would be nice as a more mature fan to see something maybe a bit more aimed at us too, i know the attitude era is long dead but i can still hope.
