In recent years ive never really woke up early to watch the live races that start at 5-6-7 in the morning, i prefere the 1pm starts. I watched both opening races on the BBC highlights programme.

great to see a range of cars and drivers winning instead of always being either a Ferrari, Mclaren or Reb Bull dominated season. would like to see better performances from the teams at the back esp caterham and marussia.

The car seems to hae a mind of its own at the moment, well thats what they say, but it could be a smoke screen, if it goes badly early on then they have an excuse n if it goes well then they can say theyve over come the issues they had.

Anyway they will have to improve this season or the whole team could face the axe.

Yeh Ferrari are off to a poor start this year as is Schumie..
A think Ferrari have lost their touch at copying everyone else and Schumie is struggling with an equal team mate that's not under orders to wipe his arse all day..

Magic, a Williams on pole on Franks 70th birthday, could this be a comeback?

A think you must have typed that wrong. Copying everyone else??
The only reason most of the teams are were they are at today is down to McClaren stealing Ferrari's technical data in 2007.

Most teams, have a word with yourself..
Teams steal and copy each others design and ideas "all" the time, its always been that way in F1 and it will never change..
To suggest that Ferrari set the benchmark from 2007 and everyone copied them is insane!
There is only one guy, yes guy not team that most play catchup to and that's Adrian Newey..

blimey i havent looked at this thread for a little while and since then it now sounds more like one of the footy threads
anyway monaco this weekend, the jewel in the crown of the f1 calender, this season is fast becoming one of the best in a long time, were now seeing teams normally stuck down the wrong end of the grid, challenging for wins, kimi raikkonen on his return to f1 is showing the world that he deffo still has what it takes to race in f1 which is good to see, alonso is tearing the arse out of his ferrari and scoring points, maldanado winning for williams on sir franks birthday
perez nearly beating alonso for a victory and no red bull dominance so far,,,im loving this season and we are only 6 races in
right heres my prediction for qualifying
                                1st hamilton
                                2nd vettel
                                3rd alonso
