    Brad Jones

I know there is an argument for this being in the Liverpool thread but thought it deserved it's own piece.

I thought the performance of Brad Jones last night was absolutely phenomenal.

We can only guess how hard this guys has had it in past 18mths with the death of his boy Luca and the fight against Leukemia the wee man bravely put up.

Now he is thrown into a pressure situation and does brilliantly.

I read he still carries the wee mans toy in his travel bag and has a photo of him on it.

In a week where his son Nico was born I wish Brad Jones all the very very best and hope the Liverpool fans (who have been great by all accounts according to the man himself) give the guy a welcome like no other.

If anyone of these millionaires deserves it then surely this guy is it?

Agreed. Brad's been thrown right in it! Done brilliant to save the pen with his first touch. Unfortunate to give the second penalty away, but I'd put that down to the occasion and lack of first team football. He was a bit edgy here and there but overall done the business.

To be honest, I would've played Jones before Doni. I think Jones will play out of his skin on saturday. He's going to want to do it for his son, his new baby and the liverpool fans. He's a really nice fella as well. Reina hasn't been his best this season, so maybe he'll have to fight Jones for his place back!
