manky skanky as you put it are on the box more than most because they are most popular and people want to watch them more than the other teams in the epl.i would imagine the advertisers pay more to screen their adverts too for the big guns rather than for lets say fulham v west brom.

As a liverpool fan , i recall a far worse 2 footed tackle by a certain Stevie G in the local derby ( maybe 2 seasons back) and he didn't even walk for it ! .
They televised and analysed it to death after the event , but no action was taken ???
Any one else recall it ?

Keane will be remembered for his shocking, disgusting challenge and he got to play rest of his career! Were as haaland career was buried. And seem to remember in an extract from his book in a tabloid paper that he said he ment to do it! Thats even more disgusting and shameful!

it's not so much that i condone those type of tackles as it is i enjoy it for the shock value. the fact that it was a city player adds to the delight for me.
everyone can condemn Keano all they like but for me his light will always shine bright in my soul

are you telling me that you wouldn't stay loyal to stevie or carra if it was one of them. its easy to take the moral high ground when it's not one of your own

No matter how good the player, if he deliberately tried to end someones career then i for one wouldn't defend him. What Keane done was despicable. He even bragged about it in his book.So you condone that do you ?

                            The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

he may have meant to kick him but i strongly doubt he knew how badly he would've hurt the bloke
