Football- putting it all in perspective

Well guys the situation at rangers has been getting me down lately and it's put me on a right downer.

Today I had a old lady in my taxi who bust into tears. I stopped the cab and had a chat with her and it turned out she was just back from the doctors and been told that her cancer had returned and now she only had 8 weeks to live. The poor old soul had nobody no family or anything and she was so embarrassed that she had broke down and cried to a stranger. I spent some time with the old lady consoling her and took her home.
Suddenly glasgow rangers and football means nothing, this puts it all in perspective. There by the grace of god go I.

John. I honestly don't feel sorry for a lot of rangers fans and defo do not the club itself - hopefully the club is getting payback for cheating for years.

But you seem a decent bloke, can recognise others views and don't go in hiding after an old firm defeat! Ha

Rod, agent, kdc - before you think about posting that pic of the rangers and Celtic fan holding hands skipping down the hill - don't! This is a one off.

      Wtf Matty ????? ...Only joking

I dont often agree with you John on certain debates such as Neil Lennon but i respect your ability to hold a debate. And you see the bigger picture regarding your clubs fortunes.

As for the poor woman? Football certainly is an irrelevance under such tragic circumstances. As much as i love my club football will always take a backseat for me when any family member or friend takes seriously ill or passes on.
