Barton display of agression cannot be under-estimated.

He will do it again if he is permitted to continue playing

Well I think you lot will come on here and shout me down!! But i think 12 game is harsh, If you look at the full incedent Tevez did lash out first and connected Barton did go for Tevez he went down like he had been shot!! Did it even connect?? I do understand that what happened after that should never have happened but 12 match ban is massive!! Look back at this season and what other players have done this season and i think you all know the things i am talking about, The reason why Barton got a 12 match ban is because of his past and because of what he tweets about ie the FA. I don't like the guy but if he is going to get 12 match ban so should the others, The things what John Terry has done this season and he is still going to the Euros WTF

Surely there is no place for this thug in football, his behaviour today was reprehensible, QPR could have been relegated but for some terrific defending and a large slice of luck, no thanks to Barton and his behaviour. Shut the door on the way out Joey !

To name just a few Cantana, who else could tackle chest high and even drop kick a fan off the pitch and still be regarded as great by some quarters, Roy keen, being a good player doesn't forgive some of their actions and alas Rooney, he's petulant and childish at times.
