A tad harsh m8 all things considered remember England had a few injuries and rooney being banned didn't help either and all this nonsense with ferdinand and terry also hasn't been healthy either so in light of all that i think 1-1 against france in the opening game was a good result and as you saiy England looked tired last 20 mins so the 1-1 is more of a good result wouldn't you say ?

And playing down there chances by coming out and saying they would be happy with a draw is maybe just part of the mind games everyone seems to be doing nowadays.
In previous tournaments England have been built right up usually to be ripped to shreds by the media (who build them right up) when they get put out so maybe this is a better tactic rather than being cock sure of everything.

Best to get behind the team and hope for the best.

Surely tho what Roy said about being to harsh on the team is all about morale and getting behind the team and with france having an impressive unbeaten record lately the 1-1 draw with them has more importance i would say and can only lift the team going forward.

Well thats your opinion and how you seen it. Not mine though its was a very negitive approach FFS Ireland had an impressive record before coming in to the Euro's well sort of, the team is poor you will see i would love them to win tonight and win the whole comp but it aint going to happen.
