Reading the Sunday mail today I was disappointed to see ally mccoist ranting on about players wanting to leave the club. The way I see it, I don't blame them. The players have to provide for themselves and families and after everything that has happened they want job security and to be able to play at the top level.The goalposts have been moved by rangers failure to run their affairs properly. These players that want to leave are not traitors or scabs.

SEVEN Rangers stars are on the verge of quitting within the next 72 hours costing the club around ?10million in potential transfer fees.
MailSport can reveal Steve Davis, Stevie Naismith, Steven Whittaker, Kyle Lafferty and Carlos Bocanegra are giving serious consideration to walking away this week.
They would join Sone Aluko and Rhys McCabe, both of whom have already decided to leave, and Rangers wont receive a penny for any of the players if they go.
The loss of Davis and Co would hit newco owner Charles Green hard in the pocket and leave Ally McCoist struggling to put out a decent team next season.
The players have been advised by employment lawyers they are within their rights to quit as their contracts cannot be transferred to the new company.
But Green disputes this and several court cases are now looming.
The players have been told to inform the club by Wednesday via a legal letter that they do not want to be part of the newco or to be paid their current salaries.
The wages are due to arrive in their accounts at midnight that day and Green has said he will pay them in full.
However, several of them have been advised to take the exit route and plan to do so.
Captain Davis is likely to end up at English Premier League new boys Southampton.
Lafferty has fallen out with McCoist and Championship side Leicester City are keen on the striker.

Probably a bit of sadness and a big dose of frustration is causing Ally sleepless nights just shows you the passion and love he has for the club.
Regarding the players in this day and age you cannot blame them the days for playing for the jersey and remaining with 1 club is few and far between and also there agents will have a major say in what is going on and they will be looking out for themselves as much as the players if not more.
A fresh start is paramount here for the so called integrity of the sport so if that means players leaving because they are looking after themselves then so be it just makes it all the sweeter when Rangers get back into the top flight and dominates Scottish football once again.

They are decent players, and obv they have been told that x club wants them, esp if they not paying a fee.
I dont think it would be hard for them to find a club what so ever.
The players so far have done more than most players have for ANY club.
They have took massive wage cuts for a lengthy spells and as much as it be hard to take for rangers fans, as it would if it was us but the players need to look after themselfs on this one.Comment
