the olympics are really unique ..even though im a footie fan

the flame around the country was brillant throughout.

only thing apart from the dire macartney out of sync music.



wasnt amused with the queen like at least she could of applauded her gb athletes all the efforts they put in to represent there nation..

but shes chose to twiddle with her fingers .

*Edit after Japan appealing the GB team get a well deserved Bronze and Japan get the Silver after initially getting 4th place. Ukraine were unlucky not to get a medal, GB deserved a medal unlucky not to be Silver.

Am not usually negative about big British events but am already pig sick hearing about the bloody Olympics.
Its a big event and its only natural that the tv coverage is gonna be heavy, if you have no interest at all in watching two guys doing synchronized diving then tough, its the most boring thing ave ever watched in my life.

Ok, BBC1 has been hijacked which is fair enough and they have BBC3 running all day for different events but the bloody news channel aswell!
Obviously the world has just stopped because of the Olympics, no news, nothing happening anywhere else, just the Olympics..

A know most people love it, ma mates are all glued to their tellys watching horses jump over a fence, people going round in circles and a big canoe going down a river, do we really need 3 channels dedicated to this.
The icing on the cake was last night as i went to watch family guy, no family guy till about 10000 o'clock as there is today's highlights of the Olympics on a channel that's spent "all" day showing the bloody thing.

it was actually 12.30 am Family Guy was shown which i thought was too late. They should put it on before Eastenders as ppl can watch that on iplayer or repeat Friday nights, Family Guy you can't.
