Loved the closing ceremony I watched it from start to finish and that's something I never thought I would do. A fine tribute to the British music industry.

I'll second that, especially the MOD part....about ~~~~ing time in my opinion and of course THE WHO at the end.

Looking at the medals table Great Britain in third place with 65 medals overall- what an achievement, the Chineese beat us into second with 22 more medals but look at the size of china compared to the uk. Bloody marvellous I feel proud to be British today.

Not a great olympic fan but it is nice to see the the brits do well, for a country less than half the size of germany not bad at all for 3rd world country.

In all honestly I felt it was a poor closing ceremony. But still, I still enjoyed the olympics overall. A terrible waste of the sport facilities however - apparently they will demolish much of it following the closure of the paraolympic games.

The basketball court is a mobile building which can be moved around and will be sold off, most likely destination will be Rio, some of the others that they'll get rid of will be re-used elsewhere and new housing will be built where they once where.

oh stfu like footballers aint self serving, these were the most extensive drug testing they've ever had in any Olympics. There are a lot of well deserving athletes who did they're respective nations proud and are sportsmen and women you can truly look up to. One ICO official said the drug testing was a joke and atleast 60% of the athletes were on dope. Off course the footballers weren't on dope cause they are governed by FIFA. They are self serving look at Serana Williams Crip dance on center court of Wimbledon Or Usan Bolt declaring himself the greatest. I know you Brits will defend the games cause it was played in England but it was a waste of money. London will not recover what it paid ( Like All Olympics ). It was like a ghost town in London were all the restaurants had ho one to serve. I hope the game don't come to NY.

Sorry but it sounds like that ICO official was on dope coming out with a statement like that, Usain Bolt has every right to call himself the greatest he's just won the 100m and 200m back to back, just like Lionel Messi who is the Greatest Footballer.

Sorry I find this an incredible statement to make at a time when the city of London is packed to the gunnells with tourists and olympians that 80 per cent of businesses reported a loss. Where did you get this information from and can you provide links to it?.
