A thought Andy played his heart out and earned a lot of new respect from most British fans..
A watched it with ma brother in law in Morecambe with a room full of English people and we were all cheering him on with a crate of lager.
A was impressed with the Wimbledon crowd who didn't seem to give a sh%$ about Haydens wall or North and South, they just wanted a Brit holding that pot up at the end.
A thought Tim Henman was superb in his support for Andy, a heard Andrew Castle comment about the smile on Tims face when Andy took the first set.
A felt proud to be British after the match, if a felt like that then God knows how Andy felt standing there with thousands of Brits applauding his efforts.
So he made a comment about England and the world cup, are we all that sensitive that we can't take a bit of banter on the chin and since when did any mature adult ever give a flying fu+? at what the Sun says..
A tend to listen to the people who know the game and they believe Andy will be a champion soon.
Superman would have got his arse tanned against Federer, the guy wasn't in a different league, he was in his own ~~~~in planet and played some of the best tennis ive ever seen in his last few matches..
That final will make Andy a better player , he gave everything he had and that's good enough for me..
