Khan is going to get a lesson or two from an old warhorse... He is taking a big risk taking this on but has to if he wants to put the KO 2 fights back in the cupboard and move on.
Only chance he has is to use his speed and get in and out quick. But he has a glass chin and Barrara can hit so if he catches him it will be goodnight Khan....

Hope i am wrong but i simply cant see past Barrerra. He was a world class boxer and even at 75% i would think that he will have to much guile to beat khan. Unless Khan has drastically improved his defence i think he is on a loser here.

Barrera to win in the 8-9 round I think age and experiance will win threw, all the same im not happy after listening to Don King talking about Khan on Friday where he expressed a realy interest in the british fighter, as if there would be big fight prospects for King sould Khan win tonight.

Hope its not a bit of a fix for Khan with Barrera due to hang up the gloves for good some time soon, you never know whan Kings game is ! that also goes for Frank Warren....

            Come on Barrera

I think this fight has been fixed and Amir Khan to win it and bring his boxing career back on track. Why esle would he risk a possible defeat against Barrera?

Because Barrera no longer wins fights like he used to? I still reckon he'll beat Khan though, but it'll be close.

Was it a good match then?

So who thinks the cut on the head pushed the odds to amirs side?
Mind you tho amir did look in top form from the start. Im not familiar with Antonios style but i hear that he waits till the later rounds for his punishments, could that have happend if it wasnt stopped?

The cut was a shocker and must have hindered Barrerra but Khan looked very good. Still has a very suspect chin but at least now he seems to have a defence.

i cant knock khan for yesterdays performance he never put a foot wrong i was just a bit gutted it never went further to see him face more of a test but unfortunately the ref had no option probably the biggest cut i have seen in boxing saw to that

but he did what he had too and in the rounds he fought last night he already looks to have improved a lot under roach i for one thought he get pummeled so all credit to khan he done well

Definitely one of the worst cuts I've ever ever seen on a big PPV event. Looked like Khan slashed Barrera with a knife. The doc should have stopped the fight the first time he checked Barrera.

i feel sorry for barrera, it wasnt khans boxing skills that won the fight it was his headbutt .

seriously i think if barrera nd kahn hadnt clashed the heads then barrera would have won later on in the match as kahn would have started to fade and let his guard drop and give the oppurtunity for a nice few hits.

just like in the fight before when Enzo Maccarinelli was ontop throughout the whole match then all it took was one glorious right by Ola Afolabi and he was out for the count

                              Agreed.

Why the hell did it take so long to stop the fight when it was obvious the cut wasn't gonna stop bleeding?

Methinks that if the fight was in anywhere but Britain it woulda been stopped far sooner.
But then it wouldn't have gone to a points decision....

Full credit to Barrera though for not quitting, the man is harder than a man who is as hard as nails.
