No m8. Although theres big money involved these days i don't think it's called for. There was nothing better than a good argument in the 70's when you had to wait for either MOTD or Kick off with Gerald Sinstadt on a sunday afternoon to win or lose your argument.

Football is too busines like as it is without stopping the game to decide if a goal was a goal. Ban all live football and go and support your team i say.

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Yes.. I agree... Away with the OOT..! Support your local club

Gone are the days of getting a bus to the ground, queueing for the kop, getting in, getting a Review and a golden goal, a pie at half time and the bus home for ?15..

But thankfully, gone are the days of piss rolling down the steps of the kop and not being able to breathe sweet fresh air

It works in super league rugby , which has a tiny turnover compared to the prem , only holds play up for a matter of seconds and the crowd are happy with it .
Why can't it work in the Prem ?
When it's your team on the end of a multi million pound crap decision by the ref , don't come whinging here !

super league isnt like football.. if the premier league teams have it then so the championship sides will need it.. then the league 1 and league 2 sides.. then the blue square sides.. where does it stop.. what makes a title decider in the Lincoln Saturday League any less than the title decider in the Premier League.. All FA sanctioned leagues are linked, therefore they all are important as each other.. and all FA's are linked to FIFA

super league is the be all and end all of RL.. The Premier League isnt the be all and end all of Football...

The decisions all pan out over a season anyway..

Football is the worlds game because no matter what level you play at the rules and match decisons are the same.. be you pro or an amature

Not really so Ops Mate , i think the higher the stakes the more it's needed , it works well at Superleague level , were a final winning try can mean 3-4 Million ? to the winning club .
In the Prem , i'ts a bit more than that !
Can't see Bootle FC ever wanting or needing it , although the passion's the same , the stakes aren't!
My Brother in-law , who loves his footy and has had a season ticket for Everton for 35yrs or more , agrees with you .

This is a bit out there but i think we should just do like FIA but a better job using ex-football players.

I tend to agree with goal line technology if this can be achieved without altering the pace of English Football we just need to look at cricket for a bad examples of this type of technology.

So currently my view should be after game appeals.

If a the ball passed the line its classed as a goal at half time or full time.

If a team is awarded a goal which didn't cross the line this would be removed at half time or full time.

PS. I am a Newcastle fan and hope that the relegation zones isn't judged on goal difference at the end of the season.
