Crock of shit if you ask me. If giggs gets it on 12 games Torres should get the world player of the year on the few games he's played.
I think Vidic shoud have got it or maybe Jagielka. Both have had outstanding seasons. Makes a mockery of te award IMHO

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

You are the man m8, Liverpool fan and suggest someone else. I think Vidic should have won it. Gerrard agreed and voted for him. He said, he hates UTD but Vidic was outstanding whole season. That shows a caracter of a true sportsman and the fan like U. Best Regards!!!

i could not believe it when giggs got the award he's been no better than say ji sung park and nobody would vote for him, i think gerrard was a worthy winner of the football writers award but would not have argued against vidic either, but how on earth was frank lampard not up for either award after another season nearing 20 goals and a load of assists? david james has played loads of games in the top flight are the players going to vote for him next year?

When a player can play as long as Giggs has in the top flight then he must be a great player. I agree that Gerrard is a fantastic player, and if he goes on to play for Liverpool for as long as Giggs has played for United then I for one would not begrudge him any award that comes his way. Great Players are Great its as simple as that so it really does not matter which club they play
              for .

i disagree, gerrard has been in great form and if not fantastic for the best part of last 3 seasons. and keeps getting snubbed!

Not seen Giggs up in court recently, true pro with a record to match, that in my opinion will never be beaten.
