Yea Great player Best Fave player you've seen play or on the TV ? Pele, Maradoona, Cruyff, Best, Dalglish. For me as a red it has to be King Kenny . But pick any of the afforementioned and you wont get an argument from me.

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

without reading these posts , i was gonna say Peter Beardsley.

obvious choice would be george best but only saw him play live once.

so i have to say a few that come to mind

Juninho ( middlesboro ) he was good
            Cantona , was very influential.
            Platini ( france )
            Zino ( Brazil )
            Giggs ( man utd )
            Ronaldo ( man utd )

For sheer entertainment it has to be Maradonna,
especially having scored THAT goal against Engurland..
and im not talking about the second goal.

i have always said when asked the question maradonna without even thinking but having thought and if you are honest how much has anyone really seen of maradonna, pele,di stefano, georgie best ect

the answer is probably if you are honest is a few tv clips and a world cup campaign maybe a european cup run and not very much else probably so does this really merit your greatest footballer of all time

i believe football is now a lot higher standard than in the 50's or 60's so the greatest has to come from this era so i wil go for ronaldo who is the greatest player on the planet at the moment after that zidane

like i said i am basing my judgement on how many times i have seen them not on a handful of games otherwise it would be maraddona who set the world alight when i was only 10

yes red football is played at a higher level now. but years ago you could actually tackle a player unlike now. you only have to sneeze near players these days and there off rolling about as if they have just been shot. for that reason im going for pele.
