    Breaking news on SKY

Breaking news on SSN Gareth Barry joins city for ?12m on a 5 year deal. Now thats a turnup i didn't expect him to go anywhere never mind there

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

money helps but doesnt guarantee anything but at least the money united make is generated by the success of the club and not some sugar daddies which if we are honest we would all like one, unlike ours who cant even afford to buy the club so all money is lost through interest repayments every year

fact is liverpool have spent more than united in rafa'a reign and only 10m less than united since prem began, newcastle have spent a fortune too and ended up in the championship leeds went a step further to the third tier of english football

so yes money helps but no doesnt guarantee anything

Villa stopped him moving to Liverpool and they'll refuse any offer from one of the other top 4 clubs.

They also stripped him of the captaincy - so why not move? There was one year left on his contract.

of course money guarantees a reasonable amount of success..you name a team thats had millions and not made it to the premiership!!!.......
before the late eighties when the sky money started coming in
the top league was far more interesting,,with different teams challenging for the tittle..funny united didnt win much then!!!..
There should be a cap on what teams can spend each season
then the playing field would be more even, and down to the skill of the managers..not the size of your cheque book..
