
Manchester United boss David Moyes has re-iterated his stance that Wayne Rooney is not for sale and claims the player is in 'the best shape' he has been for many years.
The Red Devils have arrived in Bangkok for their pre-season summer tour and Moyes is upbeat regarding Rooney's future at Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old made his Everton debut as a teenager under Moyes and the two were recently re-united when the Scot replaced Sir Alex Ferguson as manager.
"The team here are telling me it is the best shape they have seen him in for five years."

Moyes said of Rooney: "The team here are telling me it is the best shape they have seen him in for five years.
"And I am taking that as a positive. The club have already stated Wayne is staying and is not for sale.
"I am going to get the best Wayne Rooney I possibly can."
United, who were greeted in Thailand by hundreds of fans, are playing five matches in the Far East and Australia with Saturday's opener against Singha All Stars being a sell-out.
