        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Just found this "While recognized as the first 1-million-pound player, the actual transfer fee for the Trevor Francis was ?999,999 -- ?1 short of the 1-million mark. Brian Clough wanted to ensure this milestone mark did not go the player's head, although with taxes the total fee exceeded ?1.1m. This transfer took place in 1979" So maybe he wasn't after all
