for me this shows how far celtic have slid in recent years on a world stage to appoint a relegated west brom manager, celtic should be able to attract a bigger name surely

So who would you suggest ? Mowbray is the ideal manager for Celtic, he has a proven track record in the SPL is an ex Celtic player and has a fantastic knowledge of how the game should be played, all this and the fact that the Celtic fans will instantly accept him make him a superb signing. If he gets the support of the board he will do very well, and for me is a much better prospect than our previous manager.

totally agree with that, couldnt have said it better myself.

mowbrey plays very boring football and i dont think the celtic fans will appreciate watching it.

Theres no doubt Celtic has slid on the world stage and have done since the UEFA cup final, given the winners that year consolidated thier position and went on to the Champions league inal the following year.

The problem is finance, its impossible for Celtic to attract big name managers/players on thier limited budget, I believe Mowbray will do a good job, I have to believe that as a fan, he wouldn't have been my first choice that would have been Roy Keane but he wouldn't have taken the sh?t from the board that others seem ready and willing to accept.
