          THE TRUTH
          The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

probably some hardcore yank blitzed out of his brain after 2 small glasses of that piss weak beer they sell over there..

They drink like fannies.. i watched Real Madrid v Liverpool in Washington in Febuary.. all these hispanics pissed after 3 glasses of beer woopin and hollerin.. they soon shut up after Benny scored and i gave a full rendition of Fields of Anfield Road and Scouser Tommy on the table on my own..

Even my mate who is a Rangers fan said that it was a bit risky

I think they thought if someone can come in here and sink that much ale and have the neck to gob it off they'd leave me alone

@ krazylegs, mate you say that like it's a bad thing! But seriously are we really bothered wether or not he cares about the club that pays him his wages if all he's bothered about is playing for our country ? Because how many other players are verbally and openly that way out ? Country honors first, club commitments second, lots of players.....

Secondly, I can sort of understand why the fans were booing, as reading between the lines Beckham was angling for a permanent move and who can blame him ? As for the yanks booing him, not the wisest move for them to be booing a player of his quality - did you notice how quickly the English and the American wanted to fight . But seriously Beckham was right to stand his ground though and say something back, booing is one thing but how many fans overstep the mark ? If a fan says things out of turn to a footballer or just from one person to another person in life then the gloves should come off and rightly so as it's no longer professional but personal. If fans can overstep that mark then players should aswell.
