Just a bunch of sock robbers. but every little helps

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

What u seem to forget celtic were written off before ball even kicked, ok gallas goal lucky, yes arsenal had chances , and so did celtic, second half stats dont lie was all celtic fr first twenty minutes.

Yes it was a tall order. Yes the scottish teams cant compete with the likes of the big boys in europe, Yes an arsenal are one of the biggest.
But i felt the lads went out and gave a good performance. Donatti first half every were, and second half, well he was lost.

              Well proven tonight....

              Regards:
              Alun

now thats a bit harsh, for a team that cost XX amount of millions compared to a team that cost 10 times that, yes it not level playing field, ok not celtic to blame its spl, yes there loads that would like to see the old firm down there week in week out, and thats only way we will advance forward, as money is the be all and end all

it was more a case of when not if they were going to score, something that you never showed all game..

i think you played very well and gave them a battle, but it was evident you were not going to do well after 5 mins
i think thats unfair ops,. celtic unlike everton game a good performance against arsenal, having watched both games, it was night and day betweeen celtic and everton.

As i said before we will never be up there with the like of manu, barca,ac,etc etc it all about money, yes we can do it over two leagues and have did, but lady lucky not with us, Both scotish teams as have done in past only deserve the eufa?europa. yes in my opinion and many others we cant mach the wage demads .

              Uefa/europa is celtic/rangers strong point.

And on that point i would say still have the best fans in europe.

How many hoops fans will travel to emirates compared to tonight, and then last year at eufa cup final

well i beg to differ, he was trying to get out of the way from the ball.

As i said in my post if you read it, arsenal were favorites and deserved the win, but i think celtc put up a good show, and i will relish the return match.

Balls ! They had two lucky goals we had two genuine penalties refused, take the blinkers off m8 Celtic gave Arsenal plenty to think about last night and but for some poor ref decisions and bad fortune could well have taken the first leg of the tie.

Arsenal are a very good side of that there is no doubt, but Celtic can and will compete against any team in europe, we may not always win few teams do, but we're capable and no team will relish comming to Celtic park.

On last nights game, Arsharvan never got a in the game, Van Persie was for the most part kept quiet as were the rest, look at the difference between that and the Everton game were Arsenal ran amok all over the park, Celtic deserve credit for thier performance last night, unfortunatley fate dictates the rest.

True its all about winning, as a Liverpool fan you should know how it feels losing

2 lucky goals maybe but all of Celtics own doing. Give away a freekick in that area you may well be punished dont give it away you wont but. "nd goal Caldwell was unlucky but I'd have fancied either of the 2 arsenal players to score it anyway as it was a top class move. Celtic Matched them for most of the first half though it cost them in the cutting edge department. Second half did Celtic come out for it??? Seemed only the team in Blue had the ball for the majority of that half. Though its nice to see another team in blue win at Parkhead hopefully many more will this season

Check the stats on sky McMav, you'll find there wasn't much in the whole game ! As for the goal from the free kick, I agree giving away free kicks in that area can cost you, but, it wasn't a free kick Caldwell never touched the player and the ref was 2 yrd away but still gave it ! Celtic had at least 2 stone wall pen claims turned down, I'm not saying Celtic should have won or even that they deserved to win, but they certainly didn't deserve to lose in the manner they did. Celtic also showed this mysterious gulf in class is just a figment of imagination, I for one am looking forward to the second leg
