ESPN is showing arsenals first premiership game. Away to everton. I cant get there so ESPN made my day when i checked their upcoming games yesterday.

Bit worried about the champs leaugue having got celtic. Probably the toughest draw we could have got.

Think Sky sports will always rule

what i would like to see is some boxing coverage like setanta did as it seems sky dont care to show some fights

might be what you want, but personally all I care about and all Sly care about is football. If Sly didn't have football their subscriptions would plummet. The other sports are just peripheral to fill broadcasting slots. Football is the daddy. The only boxing and wrestling on Sly worth watching these days is now pay per view, so you don't even get that.

What will happen is Sly & ESPN will bid mega money next time the rights are auctioned to try and get a majority, because they both know each other has the financial clout to back it up. This will result in higher subscriptions for those daft enough to pay for them. Whoever wins is going to lose a lot of money because the subscribers will not be able to afford the extorionate premiums and this will mark the end of ridiculous sums paid at auction
