    Norwich City sack Bryan Gunn

After one league match this is pathetic.. i hope they get relegated..

"The board met this week following Saturday's unacceptable record home defeat in our opening game of the season.

"The board, after lengthy consideration, unanimously felt a change was in the best interests of all parties concerned, in order to give us the best possible chance of achieving our objectives."
    what a joke..

Hope it catches on and Megson follows

No in all seriousness to sack a manager after one league game is rediculous, why give him a full pre season and money to spend, Delia needs cooking
Life is a party and parties arent meant to last.

I admit this didn't take long, but was it not Norwich who got absolutely smashed something like 5 nil last week against Colchester ? No disrespect to Colchester and what a result for them but truth be told they aren't the best team in the league and they are far from it....and this is Norwich fresh from relegation, only a short while ago were in the Premiership, and they got raped by an average team and lost again this week....knee jerk reaction ? Probably.....preemptive ? by the looks of things, yes....we will see if this was a masterstroke by the board as the season progresses, but it won't help the short term stability of the club and I do feel sorry for the manager having been sacked after just 2 league games of the new season.

A game in charge? That's a long time in the modern game. Leroy Rosenior got sacked from Torquay after 10 minutes in the job. Didn't even get a game.
