    100m world record shattered..AGAIN

Usain Bolt shattered the 100m world record as he added the world title to his Olympic crown in Berlin on Sunday.

Bolt ran a stunning time of 9.58secs to claim gold as defending champion Tyson Gay was left trailing in his wake.

Gay's run of 9.71 was a new US record but it was only good enough for silver.

Bolt's Jamaican team-mate Asafa Powell, the former world record holder, took bronze in 9.84.

He's some boy that Bolt, he makes it look so easy.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I do not know the answer.

In today's paper, Dwain Chambers said that he is confident he can beat "The Lightning Bolt", when Dwain is only doing over 10sec.
Lets face it, he will not even be able to get a medal with this trio...

you can see the race here. just unbelieveable! when the record ever reach a point where it will never be broke? Poor Tyson Gay. The second best sprinter of all time gets 9.71, which up until a year ago would have smashed the world record.

could just be me but it seems there is something fishy about bolt reminds me of ben johnson he came from nowhere to prominance and the times he takes off the records is unbelievable the norm was around a hundreth or a couple of hundreths of a second he took 11 hundreths of his own record

i think people who come up like he did and ben johnson did and our very own linford christie who was crap then became an overnight success are all a bit dubious, i would very much like it not too be true but i have my doubts and the jamaicans a notorious for drug abuse

personally i would let em all take what they wanted then there is no arguements as im pretty sure these tests can be masked by your timing and your fluid intakes and also detox kits and masking kits to mask your samples which we can get too cover drug tests for instance at work

I think it's the norm to take drugs in athletics, it's just some get found, most don't.

To be fair, he has been mentioned for years, since in his mid teens, as the one likely to break the world record at some point. He is not doing something that the others can't do, his is moving his legs at the same pace as the other athletes, he is just taller, which makes his strides much longer, meaning he covers more ground at the same leg speed.
