Arsene Wenger has said Uefa's decision to open a disciplinary case into Eduardo's alleged dive in the Champions League game against Celtic is a "disgrace".




The Arsenal manager said: "There is nothing conclusive (in the pictures). It singles out a player in Europe to be a cheat and that is not acceptable."
He added: "For me it's a witch hunt. It is not an objective judgement of the case. Eduardo was touched by the goalkeeper and we can prove that."


Now theres a manager one could have a lot of respect for, I don't ~~~~in think, is this guy happy with a cheatin wee w?nk getting away with his disgraceful dive ? Wenger should be condenming Eduardo, not trying to defend the wee f?rt. He deserves all that UEFA can throw at him, ~~~~ it suspend the ?rse as well

Thats the problem, its time it was stopped, hopefully anyone caught cheating will be dealt with severely, maybe then the cheaters will stop !

well lets how many players hit the deck with little or no contact over the weekend you will find a awful lot i think it happens at all clubs, refs get things right and wrong

Its not the ref who got it wrong, he was conned by Eduardo's dive.

Your right there will be plenty who do it at the weekend, cheat that is ! but it is wrong and if found out should be punished, do you not agree or are you happy with the cheating that goes on.

I can think of very few sports that have as much cheating outside of football. Most other sports frown on such behaviour and go out of thier way to stamp it out.

I believe also that the managers need to stop supporting such cheats, and commend those like Walter Smith at Rangers, who dealt with Kyle Lafferty for his dive after feigning injury when he wasn't touched.

Your right it wasn't a pen, thats why he has been charged by UEFA, he conned the referee and should be punished for it now he has been found out.

There was plenty of evidence to show footballers diving well before this happened i think that the angle of the camera in which they had the replay just caught that player out. But something should have been done about this along time ago. why should we give a f_ck the get plenty of money anyhow this sort of thing didnt happen years ago when there wasnt money they played for the passion of the club.

Good post m8, and your right it never happened years ago, players fought to stay on thier feet after bad tackles and tried to score, these cheain ~~~~ers nowadays are ruining the sport they get so much ????? from.

Diving in the English game was brought here by the foreigners and they are still the masters at cheating.
I hate divers and i'm glad Eduardo could be in the shit over it, he deserves to be and so does anyone else found cheating
