I think your wrong there m8 BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | M | Man City | Angry Hughes bemoans timekeeping

BBC's Match of the Day 2 programme showed that, by the letter of the law, referee Martin Atkinson should have blown his whistle one second before Owen's winning goal.

          THE TRUTH
          The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Ok now we are arguing over 1 second of football? Aint we forgetting it was a great game of football, united gave away 2 goals from ben foster and ferdinand. Bellamy's 1st was a fantastic strike also.

Victory to the red half but what i saw must be a concern to liverpool, chelsea that city are flast on our heels.

I'm not arguing, merely quoting TBH it was a great game of football and Utd were the better team although if Tevez had have scored a goal instead of hitting the post i think City may have won.
Lets not get carried away here. We are only six games into the seson and theres a long way to go, so why would Chelsea be concerned about City when they are top of the league ? I still stand by my original pre season thoughts that City will be luck to qualify for Europe this season. We shall see

Can't complain about the injury time, it was rank defending leaving Owen the freedom of the box. Can't wait for the next 1.

I do think they will, or at least draw, they should be in top 4 this season, but again were only 6 games into the season

news just in - Giggs has scored and made it 5-3!

On a serious note we can't expect the referee to be watching his timepiece like a hawk when he should be watching the game. We can't expect them to get the game time down to the exact second.
