    Liverpool will still challenge for the title, says Gary Neville

    ~~~~ me has hell froze over..?
    Gary Neville believes troubled Liverpool still pose a threat to Manchester United's title hopes - despite the current crisis at Anfield.
    Liverpool have slumped to four straight defeats - their worst run for 22 years - with beleaguered boss Rafa Benitez facing the sack if he cannot halt their slide.
    But United skipper Neville, famed for his hatred of Liverpool, refused to gloat or write off their title hopes, warning United could face a major backlash at Anfield on Sunday.
    "Liverpool haven't had the best start to the season but even if we beat them, it would be too early to write off their challenge," said Neville.
    "The fact they lost at home in the Champions League and we won away in Moscow won't matter come Sunday.
    "They'll be in front of their own fans and we'll have to be on top of our game to make sure we do well. It's always the same.
    "We can't knock them out of the title race. There are only nine games gone so it's far too early to talk about that.
    "Any team in the top four is capable of going on and winning six or seven matches on the trot and getting back in it."
    Despite his antipathy towards Liverpool, Neville claimed he has an underlying respect for United's fiercest rivals and what they have achieved domestically and in Europe.
    "I've never said I don't respect Liverpool," he said. "You have to respect a team that's been as successful as they have and has their history and tradition.
    "But I'm a United fan and the rivalry is well-documented. Liverpool has been the biggest game of the season for a long time, going back 30 years or more.
    "Our rivalry with Liverpool is bigger than our rivalry with Manchester City. Liverpool may have beaten us twice in the league last season, but I wouldn't say we're looking for revenge.
    "The most important thing at the end of the season is winning the league, and we're delighted we won it last season.
    "We'd rather lose both games again and win the league, than beat Liverpool and not win the league."
    Oh ~~~~.. The kiss of death from Gaz!!
    Seriously though, maybe its well scripted (probably) but that pretty much sums up what any true Utd fan would think.
    Personally?? I'd be happy with a draw.
