used to love the ammers in the 60's hurst , moore, peters etc,. but in the 70's and 80's, bbc used to have orgasms over them. but when they came to anfield, they were like inter milan of old!! plus theres a top hat in my local who supports them, born and bred in stockport, wears dung shirts, doesnt know the "boleyn ground" say no more,..
but on a lighter note, been watching lfc since 1952/3. have seen every club relegated,seen us beat every club in most cups etc, etc. but.... arsenal.... 1950,1971, 1986 and then 1989...ugh...thank god for owen in 2001. cant see it in my lifetime now but they are the one team i want to see relegated. but it has to be pompey, whu and sadly bolton...
