Utd looked full of it once again at home and yes Rooney amongst the goals is good news. Although he has been playing superbly well without the goals this could be just the tonic heading into the final third of the season (he's still a ballbag though). I hear Valencia is nearing a return to fitness also and that is great news for Rooney and us. Nani was also superb even if he is one greedy bollox at times
but he aint half got a hammer on him. He looked to be played in a roaming role very similar to that which a certain Countryman of his finished his Utd career in hmmm could well be a sign for the future. Who needs to be signing attacking midfielders when he is running at defenses like that.

Yeah, great win and Nani is playing out of his skin of late, couple for Rooney and even the backs are scoring. I'd love to see Valencia back too tho. Giggs, brilliant again, keep it up boys

evening lads, yeah great to see rooney score and should have easily had the matchball at the end.i had only just sat down in my seat! not seen the goals on the box yet but hope they looked as good as they did in the stand. that is a player who is now buzzing we all knew the goals would come.
and vida what a cracking goal real collectors item that one.
looking good lot players really are starting to hit the top gears now. and with park and valencia due back the squad will be real strong againComment

Yup, great game last night. Rooney was so close to get a hat-trick but I am so happy for his scoring. Have you seen Van Der Sar`s assistance for the first goal, wowOf course I am very happy for Vida`s goal. Brilliant. I was watching Everton against Arsenal from time to time also cause of the result. Our former striker Saha got it but it was not enough. They made a turnover in five minutes... I hoped that we could increase our leading.

yes mate was looking good when they announced the scores at half time arsenal 0 - everton 1 and sunderland 2-2 chelsea.but both great sides and showed they can turn the game round. but all we can do is keep doing what we are doing and keep chalking the games off.
be nice if birmingham could nick something of city tonight!Comment

well done the brum.. thought might nick a point.here an interesting option that as cropped up with the fixture pile up:
Chelsea v Manchester United could be moved to May
Chelsea and Manchester United could face each other twice within a matter of days after it was reported their scheduled clash in March will be postponed if Chelsea get through to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Chelsea's replay with Everton takes place on the weekend of the fifth round, meaning the first available opportunity for Chelsea or Everton to play Reading will be on March 1. If Chelsea were to prevail, their planned fixture with United at Stamford Bridge on that date would have to be postponed.
Fixture congestion caused by a round of international friendlies in February, as well as the return of the Champions League, is to blame for the pile-up.
But with the sides set to meet at Old Trafford on May 7, it raises the possibility of them facing each other twice in a matter of days.... interesting indeedComment

Chelsea pitch on the day

For perspective here is the pitch which Ipswich played on the very same day

The match will be rescheduled according to Chelsea's form at the time
