Hurry up and bring a manager in who can sort these players out and get rid of the deadwood in this team. Van Gaal seems more and more appropriate as the new manager, he's supposed to be a tough old bastard, and these players need a bloody good kick up the arse.
United have now lost seven league games at home this season, the total from the previous four seasons combined under Sir Alex Ferguson. Three defeats last season, two the year before, none in 2010-2011 and one in 2009-10.Leave a comment:

Read a post somewhere today btw, and regarding finishing ability, probably suprisinging to many welbeck had best conversion rate of all our strikers this seasonWellbeck would be no great loss, pace but cant finish. Moyes and a lot of the squad are de-valuing the Manchester United brand, I cant see the boardroom allowing this to go too long. Tippy tap football is all very nice but if nobody has the confidence or ability to create at the end its pointless. Carragher was spot on when he said he must have been watching a different game.
Moyes - "we were good in the first half " ??? Why say that? Is the bar so low now that he actually believes himself. It should not matter if its the start or the end of the season, what about pride? After the (Everton) match there was a clip of Liverpool's game, it took me back a bit, the speed and urgency of the reds a complete contrast. If Moyes was to show intent by losing eight or ten players maybe he should be allowed two or three months of the new season to improve. The cash would help to pay ( but who would buy Ferdinand and Felaini, oh sh1t!) for a defender and a midfielder, the remaining places should be filled from the youth squad. He wont be allowed to carry on doing nothing.
I think he would be a miss he is different and can run at people with the ball and stretch teams, something the others struggle with, plus he is english and local which is always a plus in my bookLeave a comment:

and the fergie show would be bad for what reason?? hes the greatest manager in british footballAs far as im concerned moyes is dead and buried he's gone.. Im not comparing anyone with anyone just stating facts that it took fergi 6 years to win the league. You want another fergi to come in and play attacking f/ball to do that you need players to do it and we haven't got them yes we won the league last year and LBH it was a poor league we won. Lets have a look at the players we have how many of them would get into any top team,, 3 maybe,, our mf and defence is dire as they were last year. I have great respect for past players but i hope the class of 92 don't get the job on long term because it will be a fergi show.
Also yes it took him 6 years but before that after 1990 you could see we were getting closer just the consistency was lacking, we should have won it in 1992
Yes 6 years but your forgetting it was 20 years before that, Moyes had the champions and took them to 7th with a host of unwanted records along the way. Ferguson had to change it around all Moyes had to do was just keep it going
All this bollox about ageing players, it was not long ago Vidic was missing for a year anyway so whats the difference now. Ferdinand was out for massive chunks in the latter of fergies reign
The only difference this year really is scholes and fergie have gone, Apparantly with Moyes its because of an ageing squad that needs dismantling yet its the same players that won league and should of beat madrid last year barring the nani incident
If anything after another year the likes of evans, rafael, smalling and jones should of all improved with experience and good guidance, and they didnt (All young btw) Januzaj was always destined to play and was getting ready for debut in fergies last match until it went haywire and went 5-5.
Midfield was a problem area anyway but funny how we managed with ferguson at helm, people say he let it go and under invested but to be fair he did buy, owen hargreaves was very unlucky and anderson had potential but never fulfilled it. Ever thought that maybe the reason he never bought again was Pogba coming through??
Ferguson always looked to future and thought years ahead, the problem in in modern football is you cannot afford to lose the games you could in the 80's and 90's, everything is much more important. Premier league and Champions League are too big a prize to take the risks he would of done with youth 20 years earlier, which is probably why Pogba never got so many chances, so he couldnt wait to play and get more money as is the way in modern life. Something we couldnt give him at the time
There would be nothing wrong with the fergie showLeave a comment:

THANK FCUK FOR THAT
Now go and show him "Giggsy" how to do it.
I think the players will all give 100% for him unlike Moyes.
if Giggsy does well he might get the job. I think knowing the lads and getting them to play for you is a massive help and IMO is ahead of experience.
I say give him a go next season.
If Giggsy is to get the job i think he needs a man alongside him, If vaan gaal is willing i think it would be good to have giggs as his number 2 for a period of time. I also think that the club should do some grovelling and get the likes of phelan and rene back on the staff. Or if it is to be given to Ryan he needs to get them alongside
Gary Neville should be asked to come in and i would try and get smiechs coaching the keepers, continuity is key in succesfull buisness and in sport Liverpool had it with there is no reason why we should not also. Fergie will always be there in the background and i am sure that the old guard would be happy for his input and not feel any pressure with his presence
If Giggs wins all his games and wins them well he will have masssive wave of support, i would prefer an experienced man with him alongside but i have to admit i have been very impressed by everything he has done and said so far. He looked at home in the dugout like he had been there years and although he has no management experience i am pretty sure he has picked up a few things over the years. He also is very experienced in european football at least on a playing level so on that front was probably more clued up than moyes.
Put it this way if Giggs got the job, im pretty sure he wouldnt do worse than Moyes.
and while im on about our manager if van gaal not willing to work with giggs for a bit or vice versa what about a mention for Steve bruce? He has punched above most of his teams weights for a long time now and is doing so again
Bruce experienced manager to work with Giggs?? why not??Leave a comment:

To be fair thats where managers earn there corn, changing it around. Got it all pretty much spot on and i thought it was good idea after wellbecks running to put mata on when they were tiring. Yes its only norwich but there fighting for lives and the scousers only just scraped a win last week with another deflected goalLeave a comment:
