The spanish /italians/french/german / leagues allways try to encourage the refs to give yellows cards even becks got in on the act when he went to real madrid. Just cast your mind backto the early years of CL ..foul a player then he would hit the deck so fast you"ed think a jcb hit him so dont say it"s not going on in tonites game

bit of a sickener really i said we'd cruise it if we got at em early and we did and were coasting i had a few people round last night and as soon as rafael got his yellow i said hes gonna get sent off now

i like rafael but he is very wild and constantly takes risks when challenging i suppose he'l learn the hard way

i have no complaints with the second yellow yes ribery waved a card but i have seen many others do it too including players in this country i wouldnt have been complaining if it was rolls reversed

first yellow however was a free kick our way and shud never of happened but his petulence at not getting the free kick cost him and us and his immaturity cost us the game not just in the sending off but by being greedy and not squaring it to rooney for a tap in first half

didnt expect him to be sent off so soon though in the second half and then it was just waiting for a game to finish that seemed to take forever you seemed to know it was going to come and what a goal it was by robben

gutted to be out but on a positive note bayern were took to the cleaners as much as arsenal were off barca and if we can lift the gloom and play like that
in the last 5 games we will be champions i reckon i thought in midfield fletcher and gibson were excellent along with valencia and nani they never let bayern out of there half and chased every loose ball the tempo was superb

rafael played well even though he cost us the game with a couple of stupid challenges however i was more pi55ed of with carrick who also cost us the game not so much with his first poor effort on ilic for there first goal but the way he got caught on the ball (which he does a lot captain slow) his awareness at times is 5hite he is so laxadaysical at times in possesion and got easily robbed inside his own half which then led to the bayern corner from which robben scored

a more awake carrick they dont score simple as that he had good possesion near the halfway line and ~~~~ing got caught napping

bad night but i was at least pleased with the performance at least it showed we are still a team to be feared in europe even though we give the tie away not just at OT but in the last few mins in munich too

or and another thing is it just me or did fergie ~~~~ up with his subs putting nani up top when rooney and rafael went off

it was ~~~~in crying out for him to get fletcher back in the middle straight away and get ~~~~in carrick off put nani back wide and get macheda on up front

with 10 men you need your runners defending from the front macheda would have chased every ball down and put pressure on bayern but he waited till it was too late to take carrick off (80 minutes) only to replace him with the only ~~~~in person more lax than carick ~~~~in dimi berbatov
