Regards to all UTD fans.
We could always recall Wellbeck back from Sunderland He looked great today and caused Chelsea problems all dafternoon.
We also have Rooney back in contention for a place against Wigan next weekend so that will be like a new signing for us. We got away with another one this weekend and were left to rue the chance to close the gap even further.
I forsee more unpredictable results this season and i can also see birmingham taking something off chelsea next weekend, then they have Newcastle which will then lead them into four fixtures containing Everton,Spurs,Arsenal and Utd. If we can keep grinding out results and also Arsenal i can well see a change at the top of the premiership in the coming weeks and the march towards 19 continues.............

Deffo got outta jail this w/end again !!!!. It's getting more and more frustrating to watch. Maybe we've just been spoiled, got so used playing good football, we automatically expect it now. We're right up there and we're still not happy with the way we're playing, just show's you what we're used to eh. This season has definitely brought us back down to earth though.

3 or so years ago the football was out this world ronaldo, tevez, hargreaves no longer.a younger scholes, giggs etc. and even chelsea this year with no ballack, carvalho etc we have both slipped back in quality. but the prem league as become far more competitive with nealry all teams taking points of each other.
to be unbeaten is always good as the points do had up with draws (all be it very slowly!). granted we have thrown away so many this year.but we aint got out third gear yet. get roo back and it could have be a rocket for the season or a damp paper bag we shall see.....

but two home games coming up. the north london derby early sat and chelsea away to birmingham who got a good draw a city. if we get a good kill against wigan things good be on the up...RED ARMY

Maybe will see some new additions soon enough after all.

Glazers will pay off ?220million Manchester United PIK debt

The Glazer family, who own Manchester United, are set to pay off ?220million of their high-interest PIK loans.

The Glazers' holding company Red Football Joint Venture will pay off the entire payment-in-kind debt next week, according to a voluntary free-payment notice seen by Bloomberg.

The American family will use their own money and not the club's to settle the debt, which carried annual interest of 16.25 per cent.

Never expected this at all comes as a complete bolt from ther blue.

There is 152 million in the clubs account for transfers and that has been sitting there since the end of this tax year (April) i believe. So money is in fact available.

there's four possible scenarios as to how the Glaziers are to raise the 220 million as i see it cant think of any other ways they could raise that amount of cash

              1. Glaziers have sold some other asset ie their american football club.

              2. Taken out a new loan to clear the PIK loan.

              3. They have sold a stake in the club (220 million would be around a 5th of Utds value)

              4. They have sold Carrington and are now leasing it back (this is the worst case scenario)

1-3 are positives for the club but selling Carrington certainly is not, time will tell how the money was raised but all reports seem positive and the cash has definately come from the Glaziers themselves not the club.

they upto something lad, any reduction in debt and interest is massive step forward... but why now? is it an admission that the PIK was wrong and killing the club? at 16% in a time of low interest rates was crazy. i will be very suprised if it has come from "there own money". unless a long lost inbred uncle as popped his clogs and left a small fortune

I was so pissed by Nani last night. He ruined a perfect goal for Ronaldo. Nani is a good player but comparing him to Cristiano is silly. Although I also dislike Ronaldo`s behave we have to admit that he is still maybe the best player in the world and Nani is just a bad copy. Check this out...

Yes mate just hope they havent sold Carrington or even Old Trafford, most likely they have taken out a new lower interest loan and that's only good for the club's bank balance.

Great result's for us, but we should have buried them with 9 men, because the way the league is going, it could be goal difference in May. Good day at the office tho.

Is it possible that ''lousy United with mixed up team cought supersonic Chelsea''. Thank you Ser Alex Ferguson. And to those who don't like him, you have to stay up when you mention his name just to show duty respect. Long live SAF. Long live UTD.

Lets be honest, it was a poor game with no zip whatsoever form both sides, rio had the easiest game he'll ever play in his life.
But it was Utd who should have taken the game to wigan, jeez when they went down to 9 we should had pushed hard for a hat full to bring up our GD
This league is for the taking, we're joint top and unbeaten, and still haven't got out of second gear with the possible exception of the pool game... Speaking of pool they are now only 3pt off champs league spot... mind you wigan are only 8pts off and they're in the bottom three
                              Bring it on..
