Routine victory from UTD. Scholes was outstanding. It was joy to watch him last night.

yeah scholes was good last night, although lucky to stay on the pitch with his studs up challenge, other than that tackle he was great.

Wasn't as bad as i thought, i was expecting a good 5 nil hammering, and we had near enough the same amount of shots on goal and the same amount of shots on target, granted we didn't have anywhere as much posession.... but the major difference was man u had players that can score and toon didn't

Anno wiz these stories do my tits in an all but you gotta love em. Ozil is unproven and young and could well be a fantastic player but for now he's just a prospect. Merieles is a proven player and thats the difference in price tag. I doubt we need either player there just be bonus signings. Scholes masterclass tonight v Newcastle proves it.... that blokes gonne run amok this season. Anderson isnt exactly shabby either so hey ho and on we march to 19

i said to me m8 last week after charity shield game get your money on him for player of the year whether or not he deserves or not probably same as giggs's was more a lifetime achievement award than actually his 12 games played but scholes will injury permitting play a bigger part than that this season and looks all things considered the most likely candidate 2 man of the match's in two weeks isnt a bad start

he has been an oustanding player for us and although he doesnt get up and down like he used to is still the best passer of a ball in the league

Yes, Berbatov wake uped. It's horrible that Rooney no goals scored since many, many games.

man united were on top form against my beloved toon.united well deserved the win i'm just glad it wasn't a cricket score.it's a big step up from winning the championship to playing a top team like united but i thought the lads fought hard and never let there heads drop.

Dont think it was unlucky, Fulham well worthy of a point and never a penalty so justice really when it was saved. Fulhams a decent side nowadays and Zamora was running Jonny evans ragged all day. Got to mention Scholeys strike for the 1st goal utterly amazing !!
Nice to see "own goal" claim his first strike after last seasons performance when he was outstanding
Quite happy with a point to be honest as it was a cracking game and utd could easily have gone home with nothing. Looking forward now to Monday night football.. Should be very interesting and might be able to gauge just how far Citeh have come against a side from the top 7
