I'd love him in our midfield but i dont think it's gonna happen unless the qutari rumors are true ...

    FIRST POST SO BE GENTLE
Rumor mill says that Sneijder,Utd and Nike are trying to thrash out a deal that will see Nike supplement his wages due to shirt sales etc etc, they will just boost his sponsor money bringing his income inline with his current earnings. Similar deals happened when Beckham and Ronaldo went to Madrid, the income generated for Nike/Adidas etc makes these deals more than worth their while. Utd always look towards re-sale value when signing big players but if he helps us to a Champions league final win then he has more than paid his way.
I have a sneaky feeling this guy is on his way but if not then we will carry on regardless.

i have always thought it would never happen but after Gills statement the other day it seems like he knows something we dont

i cant see why he would make that statement otherwise

If... and its a big if!! Sneijder arrives i say ~~~~ the resale value.
He's just what we need, all other areas are covered except midfield.
I dunno what to believe now regarding Sneijder and United!!
            Does Inter want to sell?
            Does Sneijder want to come?
            Is SAF bluffing?
Then of course theres the transfer fee, wages etc..

If he doesn't sign, we're just going to have to do without, we won it last year without him but were badly shown up at CL final.
Of course thats not to say we would have won the CL with him!!!

On another note anyone else going to Scholey's testimonial Friday??...

An experimental United side beat a experimental barca side.. not too bother to be honest....
But at the same time keeping a winning mentality is important.. and it certainly beats getting shafted by a championship side 3 nil.

The season has not started. Pre season "has" it's a UTD thread and we have just played 5 games and won them 5 games, hence why we are talking about them "now"

yep booked mine the other day can only get in the north stand though top tier so will need ventilator and binoculars

tbh its the first time i will be going to OT in 2 years i just cant afford it its just too dear for me and the kids where this has only cost me ?30 so its not too bad

still probably cost me over a ton once were all fed watered and parked up though

but if any player desrves the fans cash it is paul scholes who for me was the best of a generation and probably the best midfielder this country has seen in my lifetime

and that includes gascoigne, robson gerrard and fat lampard the little ginger lad is the only player who could get in barca's midfield

if he was foreign and a media darling and pin up like beckham every ~~~~er would be wa*nking over him

                                a proper players player
