VDS slotted in like he was always meant to be a Utd Player...something like 1 goal conceded in his first 7/8 games The guy was a legend... and would probably be more of a legend if it wasnt for "peter the great" who maybe slightly overshadowed him.

De Gea???.. hmmm.. for starters he needs to hit the gym and put on at least 10kg... probably 15..
Make no mistake Eric Steel will be working overtime building his confidence and getting him to Epl standards, because at the moment, no two ways about it, he's very shaky looking.
I find it amusing that dippers fc are having a laugh at his expensive, have they not seen their own lumbering 35 million oaf struggling against an average sunderland defence.. and of course donkeyface not being able to hit a barn door from 12 yards.....
But then again they do seem to be blinded regarding their own club/players/manager and more interested in what's going on at OT...so no surprises there!!

Getting back to de Gea... Lets get some perspective on this, it was his Epl debut, it's not as if he's been ~~~~in up for half a dozen games or more...IF.. and only if... he continues to make mistakes, then we have a capable lieutenant in Lindegaard, for now!
Come the January transfer window im sure we could prise buffon away form Juve for a few years.
We are MUFC... the quest for trophies and sucess will continue, and the little matter of a goalkeeping mistake (or two) wont stop that.

yes the refs may have seen that it happens every week to every keeper i have no doubt every opposition manager has too

im not against de gea i said earlier he may prove an excellent signing i am just fearful that another display as weak as the weekends may destroy him for good i think he would benefit from time out of the limelight to get used to both language and the physical nature of english football

the best game he has had so far was v barca he looked calm and comfortable but that is the game he is used too in england we have west brom stoke and the like who bombard the box with aerial balls

yes he has to get used to it but maybe IMO he will be better eased in especially if we have problems with riio and vid

im pretty sure ferguson will sit down and discuss how he feels about playing our next game and the coaches will be all over him

he may feel he needs a break he may decide to plod on and see what he is made of but if he does play it is a big risk to his future

the last thing you want as a keeper is to be known in the media as a calamity because another week or 2 and thats what wil happen if anything happens again

is it worth taking the risk? he is young we have the time to blood him in there is no need to rush IMO

What i am saying is VDS also had bad games and made big mistakes Also looked Ropey from time to time keepers do, De Gea has looked shakey without a shadowout a doubt, We should have bought that Swansea Keeper!! Hes looked ~~~~in class!! Joking aside, I am not worried about our De Gea as I beleave we will score a lot of goals this season and will win the league, I also beleave De Gea will come good I have Faith,

De gea was always going to be a long term project, does everyone think he would just step right into VDS's shoes, has no football brain, we are not 2 months into the season it's 1 game away from home, we have to make him know what it is like playing week in for UTD and he has not played at Old Trafford, let the fans get behind him and get him relaxed at home and learn from UTD playing at home.
The answer is not to rotate with keepers.

Id class it as 2 games played and 2 major blunders in both not just that though he dosnt look at ease or comfortable

and as i said he is young so why rush him ?? you just said yourself he is a long term project so why does he need to step straight in to VDS shoes??

you are contradicting yourself in the one hand you are saying he should play then in the other you are saying that if you think he would fit straight into VDS shoes you have no brain

so do you have no brain??? if he cant fit straight into VDS shoes he shouldnt be playing simple

which is what i have been saying why take a chance and possibly ruin a potentially good young keepers career when there is no need he has years ahead of him

who mentioned rotating keepers i mentioned getting him away from the spotlight for a while and introduce him when he has more experience in england

            rotation is totally different

Just on another note, I am under the impression we are still going to sign 1 more big signning before the end of the window, and it will be a Top class Midfielder!! but Not Wesley!!

It's Manchester United, we have SAF who has just paid ?18 million for De gea. We have Eric Steele who is UTD'S goal keeping coach and has been watching De gea for the past 18 months! You telling me they are wrong! They are the team behind UTD who built us up to what we are, we are the Champions!
If SAF thinks you are good enough to start playing so soon then I am. All SAF is doing at this moment is giving him experience and playing for UTD he will get that very quickly.
Iker Casillas has said "he will pension us all off"

You say "why take a chance and possibly ruin a potentially good young keepers career when there is no need he has years ahead of him"

As long has he can learn from his mistakes in the end he will be fine.

thered get behind De gea, have faith in SAF!

i am behind him i am behind everyone who pulls on the united jersey i hope he does well and stay till he is 40

which is why i would like to see him protected by taking him out of the spotlight until he beefs up learns the lingo and learns english football fergie might even just do that against spurs

because any more howlers in the next few games will see him labelled the new taibi he will be a lughing stock both in the media and with rival supporters and mud definately sticks once your reputation as a keeper is in tatters you have no place to hide

ManU are in Decline. You should know if you don't spend money you will be left behind. Pry open your wallet and get Wesley and go out and get another keeper since the one you got is starting to wilt. Who is his back up oh i know his name it's "No body ever heard of him" Is it true Giggs is a homo and loves showering with other guys that's why he still on the team. Ha Ha

Me thinks its you hoping Man U are in decline, Keeper makes 1 mistake in first game so that means he's wilting, dont think so, give the lad a chance im sure he will fit in well.
