job done with eight changes,squad used to it's full and still get a result at a very intimidating arena and records broken again by that old man giggsy. this is the tournament any side worth their salt would prefer to be in.fergie gets it right again.very impressed with performance from lindegard.

We were very poor lets be honest Carrick is a week link either goes backwards or sideswards slow the game down to much. I thought Evra was poor Rooney was isolated park was poor i no it was fletchers first game but his passing was poor we was giving the ball away to much Evans looked weak i know we made 8 changes but we were very slow and didn't make many chances, we were not exciting, I know we got a point which should be our hardest game but i like the excitment and fast one touch football and going forwards not backwards. I know it will be a differant game on Sunday i just want to win every game!!

Agreed mate that was like watching United away from home last season.......Oh wait that was United from last season !! Cant understand why we persist with Carrick he not only gives away possesion but then proceeds to do naff all to win it back. He has not been Utd quality since his 2nd/3rd season and I dont think he ever recoverd from his injury. We had a midfield 5 that has played minimal football and it showed but that said it was the same 5 that lost midfield battles against Wolves and Blackpool last year ! Still a hard earned point and gives Fergie options to rest players during this group stage since we escaped our hardest match relatively unscathed.
I do feel for Berba though i mean top scorer in the league last year and cant get a game wtf.

I hear what you are saying with Berba but mate look at the games last season where he scored there all game we won without any trouble and he was scoring 3 or 4 goals in the little green pea was scoring vital goals in 1-0 2-1 wins i think berba is a good player but who do you replace him with??? also he is not as deadly as Rooney or the Pea, as his work rate is questionable.....

Dont get me wrong I agree our best pairing is Roo/Pea I just feel a bit for Berba. He is taking it well though and showing his proffesionalism, just hope he takes his chance when he gets one.

More than happy with the point mt and a testament to the squad to be able to make so many changes and still have a classy lineup on the field. Just slightly dissapointed in the likes of Carrick and Evans, the rest have seen very little football so that excuses the sluggish performances.
I think we may well see those players again before this group stage is done. Fergie can use it to get players game time and hopefully bring their tempo up to scratch.
Not bad for a team in decline eh !

In the interview he was asked if DeGea was to start over the very impressive Lindegaard and he said DeGea will be back as number one, least we know we have three very good keepers to rely on now. Pretty sure he will use the same team as the Bolton game.
