How ~~~~in ordinary did we look today without rooney. I know stoke is a tough place to go, but, nani should av made it 2-0 on the half hour, and giggs did...what can only be described as "shit his pants" right at the end to win it for us.

they deserved a point it could have been worse we were woeful

de gea made a few decent saves and nani was our only real threat we looked toothless up top both owen and berba were always coming towards the ball and never trying to get in behind

on a plus point i dont think we will play much worse this season and loosing both rooney and hernandez was a blow

wellbeck should have came on instead of owen

Happy with the point at the weekend and given a stronger referee I reckon we would have come away with all 3. The Brittania's a tough place to go these days but i would agree with most opinions that we didnt really perform anywhere near our capabilities. Thought Owen earned his chance but didnt really take it, there was a few came up short but given the lack of matches some have had then no surprise really.
A chance for players to get more game time tomorrow against Basel and then hopefully we will see the return of Cleverly, Roo and Chico.
City look strong and Chelsea are the ever present threat that should make for an interesting season.

                          Well never die

Lets just hope the Stoke game was the kick up the Ass we needed.

Once again i think Fergies team selection let us down. What was he thinking ?

Valencia at right back when Fabio was on the bench.
Owen gets the nod before Welbeck.
and I wish Berbatov had left when we had the chance to sell him, seems like he doesnt want to pass the ball, likes to be clever and take on too many defenders.

We need to get our act together, and quick, because i cant see City and Chelsea blowing these sort of games.

Oh another thing the referee was crap, he looked intimidated by the Physical Stoke Team that cleaned out Hernandes and somersaulted evra with dodgy tackles
