They looked a decent side going forward but we should be looking for 3 home points out of ties like this. Wellbeck was sharp but our midfield was once again non existant as for the back four (rio in particular) send a search party out.

the scorelines so far this season have flattered us
we have been defensively very poor all season so far last night just highlighted it better as the actually scored 3 where other teams have been wasteful
second half wellbeck was far too isolated and our 5 man midfield was over run by 3rd tier european footballers
hopefully we will kick on from this and take it as a lesson that maybe we are not as good as we were staring to think we wereComment

I always thought that they complemented one another ( rio and vidic).. vidic has also played below average when rio is missing.
Dont think the captaincy suits Evra bty.

i think evra'a a great left back but he will get caught out goiong forward and thats where being organised at the back comes in if players go you need players to fill the holes at the minute we seem to have a few people who like leaving holes jones is 1 he does look good though when he does burst forward if it works out sometimes it does not and he gets caught out
but he is you and he will learn and dont forget we have a very young back 5 at times VDS did a lot of organising from the back as well as vid and rio de gea cant speak english yet
