i think as an Irishman you don't get the hatred.. It's on a par with the Glasgow derby, you're asking for trouble if you advertise the fact you're a UTD fan in a home area of the stadium..

He will be fine if he doesn't start jumping all you need to do is stand when they are standing sit when there sitting!! they will proberbly be stood all game they do in the Kop even more so for there cup final, Just don't wear any visable colours, me and a few of my family have been in the kop end a few times!! going back a few year when it was ~~~~ing really bad, Its all about mirroring them, well i wouldn't start jumpping for joy if they score just stand up, but if you don't start been a nob and start singing and jumping up when we go 3 nil up you will be fine!! Oh we "get" the hatred alright!!.. But to us it's just intense rivalry...Hatred takes on a completely different meaning..

Anyway, You're painting the kopites in a bad picture imo, surely they dont wade into a fan just because he doesnt sing or show any emotion when liverpool are attacking/defending..

I have a mate that have been to anfield for a united game with pool fans, (as part of a stag night in liverpool)
He basically has said the same as yasminandrio, His advice is if/when liverpool score stand up and clap, while all around you are going nuts celebrating,
When/if Utd score, hold your head in your hands as if in dispair whist busting with joy inside.

With all the sly sports hype nowadays surrounding mediocre games/fights etc very few reach the full expectation demanded of them.

a well deserved draw today against the scum,big improvement on the result we had last season.they will be well pi**ed off after going in front all be it from a bad defensive mistake by giggsy lets see what excuses are put forward as to why they dropped two points at home....~~~~in lovin it!

i thought we were dragged down to their level to be honest.

we were made to look like an average team by an average team.

worst game i have seen so far this season.


and the biggest disappointment for me is " who shot Charlie Adam " cost me a few quid

yeah agree with you there to some extent,think the line up was influenced by the game we have in midweek.in that respect good use of squad players overall a good point gained and a few plus points, defensively looked a lot more solid than of late.

poor game disapointed fergie when to match their team of runners with err a team of grafters and the result was a largely predictable boring game looking at the teams put out in which we sort of deserved a point although they had the better chances

it should not have been a free kick and well wtf was giggsy doing ??

it was a tame shot that would have bounced into his belly evra did not look happy at all with him

Disappointing game, thought once we got through the first half without conceding, he would av made changes early second half and went for it. But we'll take the point tho, especially with the chances they had in the end. Still reckon the sooner Vidic comes back the better.

i think Adam could have stayed on his feet but he aint the first to be happy to go down for a free kick nor will he be the last. As Ferdinand said in his interview after there was minimal contact, so by the law of the game the ref would have been right to show him a 2nd yellow for that but, afterall Lucas got shown 1 in the first half when Park was going through the middle. In all even tho we should have won it at the end probably a fair result
